Check this little page to see what each writer is doing or venting about…
(that’s right, we’re not zombies that wake up, read mail for hip hop news, post about it and then go back to stumbling and groaning)
To be honest, Twitter has me slacking on the Vent or Bent page. Anything I want to say I say there. :S Whoops.

Can you believe all the free music that gets given to you and I? I was just sitting back and thinking about it the other day. I have a THOUSAND+ posts, the NMC??…f* me, I don’t even want to think what their collective music count is. And for the most part it’s a beautiful thing, because the free music exposes the artists. But sometimes it gets exploited. I mean, how can you tell me you get 40,000 downloads of a SINGLE, or a tape, but you can’t sell 80,000 albums after real promotion etc in your first month. First week talk should have been dead a long time ago, fucking Billboard. Excuse my language.
But I really mean it, if you have downloaded and ENJOYED any music I hope you have at least supported the artist in the form of a mixtape purchase, CD purchase, concert ticket purchase, SOMETHING.
Seriously. Gut check time. Don’t even get me really started. Good music deserves some coin folks.

Things in the oven so…Back to the Grizzly Bear.
and. I’m. gone.

Going through Semester Number Nine of my university/college career, I too am currently studying for exams. Well, sort of. I suppose late night surfing doesnt really count, but really, who spends all 24 hours of a day studying? certainly not me, now that I have no classes to go to, and really nothing preventing me from sleeping for 10 hours each night. Go ahead, let the hate flow through you. I’m going for the second straight 10 hour sleep. Dare to challenge? Bring it on

Im not gonna lie, I wake up every day in a panic thinking that Im not studying for something before realizing, “F**K, I graduated!” … In saying that, I did have the most insane class schedule ever for the last 4 years, so don’t envy me too much. Good luck on your exams to all the students out there, you have no idea how good its gonna feel when your done.

figured I’d post this permanently to comments:
    (said on December 4th)
Can I just say that I’m tired of these new guys talking only money…what about the story? HOW did you get that money, not what did you spend it on. I mean mix that in sure, because I’ll eat it up but as long as it’s not JUST about that. Like…do it like Wale and mix the fact that you have money in the subtext of the song. In ‘Ridin in that Black Joint’ (which I can not get enough of) YOU know he’s riding in a CL, but HE doesn’t care. Do it like an athlete folks. LeBron doesn’t jump up and down and go crazy because he made two, three or five and the bench look stupid on a dunk does he? Step your modesty game up. At LEAST for your first album.

also….who is going to touch UNC?? NOBODY this year. Undefeated all year?? we’ll see..

upon further reflection…I was just so mangled and got overly excited that the Cool Kids used a pretty common phrase in saying that they were “Fresh Out The Oven”…but keep your eyes peeled to FOTO…some big things are on the way. But I like that everyone I sent that drunken text to supports their support. ha.
Sorry all…next time I’ll keep the excited texting to a minimum at a concert

Chubbz managed to melt his computer’s bottom casing a little on a stove-top (genius! genius! genius!), so that’ll explain the lack of communication from that particular Baker. Get that s* fixed!

What was the shoutout from The Cool Kids?
    what happened there?
    sounds like crazy stuff

Senor, that was a while ago now. That was just a Bent mistake of my own, that got spread out too fast to put out. Popular sayings as a web-name is all. Would’ve been strange, looking back to those days, for them to shout us out then.
